Yes.

Well, that's a day late (people take a Twitter message to be a promise of news, it seems), but hopefully it won't be a dollar short ("Yarg is progressing nicely and it will fix one minor bug, offer one requested change, and be released at some point before the Rapture strikes Little Big Planet")

And none of that is meant to offend anyone. Its just a simple matter of fact that people tend to take most any comment as a promise of a news release (the Twitter message could simply have meant that MM was updating their staff on the Yarg front on Wednesday and not the community at large). It is also simply a matter of fact that we don't get too much in the way of information until the patch is actually available for download, since its not fair to get our hopes up about something that might turn out to be another DLC catch-up patch. Since Yarg has been hyped as the second "big" patch for the game, tension's pretty high on our end about just what to expect, with word being pretty tight lipped on what we SHOULD expect as opposed to what we DO expect. Needless to say, if Yarg only brings the music while creating option and the global switch, people just might be disappointed, and probably downright angry, even though the only real thing we've been told so far is that it will bring music while creating and a global switch. It's not fair to Sam and MM to be inundated with negativity when they bring us exactly what they said they would, but with so many promises in the air of future updates, and no actual news about any of them, every patch, big or small, is taken to be the one to fix the next big problem and a great many players feel let down when it turns out that all it does is make it so we can see the shamrock in the St. Paddy's Day costume's mouth.
