My level was "moderated."

Has anyone had this happen to them yet? My level was moderated (read; deleted) and now I can't re-publish. There was absolutely nothing offensive whatsoever in the level at all and I was given no explanation as to why they moderated it or why they won't even let me republish, even after making changes. If any mods here have any insight into why things like this happen, please enlighten me, as this totally kills the enjoyment I was getting out of this game.

Re: My level was "moderated."

This just happened to tons of levels in what seems like a matter of minutes including my own level "Failure To Launch".  By the trend I see from the levels I can no longer play from my recent levels on my planet, its all about copyright.

Some levels I've seen now unplayable due to moderation: Pacman, Batman, and Scrubs related level.

Fun is no longer overcoming.

Re: My level was "moderated."

Oh...  I think you're right.  I had items available in it that other people created of Sonic the Hedgehog and a metal gear solid character.  They couldn't just delete those items, they had to go and take the whole level???  Thanks but no thanks, MM, I think I'm done with this little experiment.  I had to delete my level that I spent hours working on, because it wouldn't load, copy, or move, so any desire I had to play this game is completely gone now.

Re: My level was "moderated."

its not their fault.. sonic and metal gear solid are copyrighted which means you dont have the right to use it in your games

Re: My level was "moderated."

We're reviewing the moderating system currently to provide better feedback on why levels are moderated. Primarily, any level that is reported using the grief tool will be checked over by a moderator, at which point they'll examine it in line with the EULA. If a level is found to be in violation of the EULA it will be moderated and you'll receive a message to that effect.

We're moving towards a system where additional information is given, however for the time being if you don't want your level moderating avoid anything unsuitable for users of all ages and copyright content.

What your saying makes sense and then it doesn’t one of the highest rated lvls is the batman lvl that everyone loves, it’s full of copyright material. What sets this apart from other lvls, has it been hearted to many times? I hope that you guys can be more specific with what kind of material can and can’t be used. Right now I’m just a little confused by some of the rules in the EULA.

It's total bull to be honest. My level was ''moderated'' also and it was just another PS3/360 type level that I see a ton of. Yet their levels still remain. One of the main appeals to this game for me was to create my own level(non offensive), spent like 7hrs yesterday making my level and now its been ''moderated''. It's not even offensive either, check it out, I got it recorded last night and put it on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nk3M7pwchB0

its just pure comedic PARODY fun

But I agree if its because of ''copyright''. Then how come all the batman and other such things are still around?

But I'm like one of those above posters, got this game yesterday and now this after hours of working on a fun level and it gets deleted, it just depletes my excitement for this game

Re: My level was "moderated."

So I can be sure.... if my level gets deleted, I can no longer publish new material?

Re: My level was "moderated."

You can't publish your level that was ''moderated'' over again.

You have to start over and create a new level. So yes you can publish new material, just not the one that was originally ''moderated'', meaning deleted

But I'm so depleted right now, I can't even think of wanting to create another one after my first one got deleted, dont want to spend another 7hrs+ making one just for it to get deleted again

I hope so people at least deserve to know why there level was moderated it would be nice if we could get a sticky on these forums going into depth of what is acceptaable and what is not
