It's probably a server-side problem, similar to how the star ratings were, when they were broken.

The 1.20 update to the game is indeed more content, rather anything too massive, however I can reveal that 1.21 is the fabled and oft heard of Leerdammer update.

I can't say when it's coming just yet, but the fact that it's next in the queue should give you some indication.

That's not necessarily true.
Any content due to be released in the near future is likely to already be patched into the game through a previous patch and therefore just needs to be released on the Playstation Store to unlock said content, whenever Sony have scheduled the content to be released.
