So do you believe that a fat man in a red suit brings presents down your chimney and he rides a sleigh driven by flying reindeer? Try asking your parents for a 40 inch HDTV for Christmas and see what happens. Chance is that they said something like 'Santa is too busy to get that' or 'Santa needs to bring gifts to other children so he can only get you something small' but if your parents love you enough to get you a 40 inch HDTV this will not work. This is just my opinion but if you agree or disagree post your own opinion.
I'm going to just say this up front. You're a jerk! Look at the way you say this. And I guarantee you, there are kids whom search on these forums that believe in Santa. Not only do you drop the bomb, but you drop it right BEFORE Christmas, and tell it in a pretty rude way basically telling kid's their dumb to believe that.
But oh wait. It's not against the rules! Regardless, you know it's wrong, and you have NO excuse for it! What you did and are doing is shameful, you are not giving me a very good impression, and not making a very good start on these boards.
By the way quit giving Ryuk crap. He's just standing up for what's right.
P.S. Mods, please lock this tread. There is no good coming out of it.

Ok, I've been asking this since the beginning of the thread. I'm serious... I honestly don't understand this... WHY IS IT WRONG?! Isn't the fact that the parents lie to their children in the first place as some form of demented amusement (hahaha! He believes in a fictional thing, that's so cute!) the part that's wrong?

Yay, Mdrd is sticking up for me!
@micro: its the fact that they Belive in something Magical... Its the point that someone that nice and magical can do all those things. Its really just a good influence on the "Behavior" of the children.

If you have to make your children believe in imaginary things to behave... I think you're an unfit parent, I'm sorry... But really?

How... you bride your kids with treats...You Yell at them... A little Story doesnt sound that bad...
Haha, did I say that bribing them with candy, or yelling at them was a good means of parenting? I'm just saying, you shouldn't have to tell kids this kind of tripe to get them to behave. I think if anything this just expands into them believing in other false things, but we won't get into that. I think it manipulates their perception of the world to the point where it could harm their ability to comprehend certain things in the future, like... To put it bluntly, the fact that magic does not exist.
