TRIAL OF SEASONS PART 1

DIFFICULTY: [Medium to Hard]
POSITIVES: I can't say enough about this level. The attention to detail and aesthetic was especially amazing. I loved the Whack-a-Mole game, with the nice touch of the Collector being one of the moles. It was pleasing to the eye, and I kind of didn't expect the shift to winter. That must have taken a lot of dissolve material. I absolutely love this level: the design, the gameplay, and the aesthetic all fits. The decoration and detail were superb, and not a sound was out of place.
NEGATIVES: It didn't last long enough.
NITPICKS: Some behind-the-scenes mechanics were inadvertently (I assume) shown, but not much.
OVERALL RATING: 5/5 stars; hearted
NOTES: Please, please make parts 2 and 3.

The Hills Have Cows

DIFFICULTY: [Easy]
POSITIVES: Good layout and theming, although I do think you ovedone the stickers in most parts. Loved the cow (mine was drunk and fell over LOL). Suitable choice of music.
NEGATIVES: The semi-circles above the spikes are not a challenge at all. They are grabable, hence you can stop yourself from falling. Try making them out of glass. Also the lift at the end is not wide enough, as such you are able to fall back down the shaft and not be able to finish. Consider widening the lift base or use a proximity switch so that if you do fall, the lift can reset. There is also no custom icon. Take a picture of your cow and use that as the icon.
NITPICKS: There are places (after the bloke that tells you about the cow race) where you can get stuck between the hills. Consider leveling them out or place some object there to stop this from happening.

DIFFICULTY: 2P [Hard] / 1P [Extreme]
POSITIVES: Well thought out co-operative tasks. Very original (yet tough) boss. +1 For giving me an idea for a boss of my own. Nice touch with the wall of fame for solo competitors. Custom icon is always a bonus.
NEGATIVES: Simply where's the tense music? Would suit this sort of level. The glass blocks just before the boss (imo) need to be tweaked so they rise slightly higher as the roller does get stuck often. With the way the boss is set up, it can jump out of the area back to where you came from.
NITPICKS: The flipper doesn't always shoot you in the right direction. Maybe tweak it a little so that it stops just after horizontal. Also the switch where your sackboys meet again needs tweaking (little bit more length needed) as we had to tilt the stand it was on to give it that little boost.

NOTES: Played this with gocubsgo2 and got to says it looks darn difficult if your going to do it solo (I struggled even with another player). Very entertaining though. Take these tips on board, am sure you can make another tweaked version. Good job.

FROM SIBERIA WITH LOVE PT. 1: INFILTRATE

POSITIVES: Good design and clever placement of intel boxes. The decoration was pretty good, not the best I've ever seen, but adequate. After all, how much variety can a Siberian base have? The story was adequate, not the best, but pretty good. I liked the detail of the Intel boxes.
NEGATIVES: The locations all blended together, looked the same. A little bit more variety in materials or structure could have livened things up.
NITPICKS: Where's the snow?
OVERALL RATING: 4/5 stars; hearted
NOTES: Add some snow and it will really be impressive.

MONOCHROME

POSITIVES: I've always loved anticolor levels and yours was terrific. The gameplay was adequate enough to serve the purpose. Anticolor is always kind of a novelty, that has to be backed up by other elements, and you backed it up.
NEGATIVES: A little bit of visual and text-bubble polish is in order. Also, some gameplay was simply running. It's not a good idea to have too much of that in a level.
NITPICKS: The lift that you have to grab to activate took forever.

POSITIVES: Personally none, for me that is, but for some the counter prize maybe useful. But at least it works. Plenty of decoration even though it is a simple design.
NEGATIVES: Other than for people who may struggle with making stuff like this, I see no reason for an advanced creator to play this.
NITPICKS: At least put some music in there to entertain the user.

SURVIVAL CHALLENGE: VOLCANO PANIC MmSC

POSITIVES: It sure was a survival challenge. I liked how the difficulty ramped up as you kept progressing. The monsters were...interesting, to say the least. Using the plasma balls instead of fire or electric was good: I haven't seen a whole lot of plasma in survival challenges.
NEGATIVES: I know it's a really short, bite-sized level, but it could use some decoration. Also, what happened at the end? The PS3 slowed down a whole lot.
NITPICKS: Sometimes there was a pattern with the point bubbles and plasma.
SUGGESTIONS: The starting of the level was a bit hard to understand. You should make it separate blocks instead of just one. The wording explaining the start could be clearer as well; if you have to, use multiple mouths. Also, try to look into the issue of the PS3 slowing way down at the end. I don't know if you used too many lights or too much smoke, but it should be fixed.

POSITIVES: EVERYTHING, well except the one niggling negative described below. Well designed and themed. Could not ask for better. Love the little in game map, very unique touch.
NEGATIVES: Even though this is describe as v.2, which is meant to fix the lift system (the one where you may have to jump to get it moving upwards), it can still stick at the top left corner. *EDIT* This has now been fixed. Also the comments on the level are suggesting that there are still a few problems with the level (this may just be down to luck, but I have not encountered any).
NITPICKS: Too addictive (seriously!).

NOTES: A definite MUST PLAY! Covers all game types. As for the problems with the level, people may be commenting on the fact that certain objects (The Shield for example) are too prone to be accidentally flipped, and may cause you to lose a life. Just be careful.

POSITIVES: Well not much to be honest. It was playable and you have a good concept going here but it was too bland for my tastes.
NEGATIVES: Lack of checkpoints, notably before the rolling glass balls and after the lift could do with one placing there. If you die after the lift you are sent back to where you picked it up but the gap which contained it is extremely difficult to jump across. Also at beginning you can avoid the five sets of small spikes by jumping down as you have built the level in the back plane.
NITPICKS: As above, lack of checkpoints at major locations.

Monochrome Rebirth

POSITIVES: Pretty much the same as the original, but liked the twist of the unexpected questions near the end.
NEGATIVES: Again you have built the level in the back plane, which can be taken advantage of as said in first review. Text at the beginning (monster) has been moderated. The 'o' letters at the word thing? need looking at as they should be useable in both places (they are the same letter). Lastly the lift with the hex grab switch needs tweaking as you can fall back down and not get back up again, causing you to restart the level. Consider using a proximity switch instead.
NITPICKS: Again more checkpoints at major locations needed.

NOTES: This one did drone on me (very long) as nearly all the time you were just running and jumping, real lack of challenges.
