SIMPLE RACE 1-5
AUTHOR: Ghados
DIFFICULTY: [Easy to Medium]
POSITIVES: They were fun, as simple as that. The levels had a great sense of flow, in that you have to keep moving and be skilled to get to the end before the timer buzzes. The design of the levels was pretty good, but they seemed similar from race to race.
NEGATIVES: The gameplay isn't anything we've never seen before. Perhaps the times in some of the levels (particularly number 20 could have been increased a little bit. I had a hard time getting to the end of some of the levels before the buzz of the timer. Decoration/aesthetic improvement couldn't hurt either.
NITPICKS: The music boxes were visible at the starts of the levels. Generally don't let any switches or tools show, unless you're providing a tutorial for a machine or obstacle.
SUGGESTIONS: The variety of gameplay could be greatly improved. I'm not saying have puzzles or anything, because that would defeat the purpose of a race, but have something other than running up and down hills. Decoration and a wider variety of materials couldn't hurt. I know you don't have the time to stop and smell the flowers, but it still adds a nice visual touch that the levels were lacking. Cover up the music boxes. I just don't like seeing behind-the-scenes things.
OVERALL RATING: 3/5 stars for all
NOTES: I kind of treated it as a level pack, judging my star rating on all of them together, not separately.

A Simple Race 1 - 5
AUTHOR: Ghados
DIFFICULTY: [Easy]
POSITIVES: The levels served their purpose well and were well laid out. The chosen music also suited the varying themes.
NEGATIVES: Unfortunately there is no replay value for single players other than getting the top score. However for multiplayer these levels would be good.
NITPICKS: Closed level signs were not glued down. Visible song boxes.
OVERALL RATING: ![]()
![]()
![]()
| [Hearted] - All 5 levels rated the same.
SUGGESTIONS: Even though they do not interfere with gameplay, stick the close level gates down and make the song boxes invisible. Personally if I see a song box or visible tools I can tell that something up ahead is going to change. Keep the invisible so the player cannot guess as to what's coming up.
NOTES: As far as single player goes, there is nothing to go back for. However if your doing multiplayer these levels have a lot of replay value. Which is why they were hearted by me. I also treated these as a group rather than individual as they all serve the same purpose.

Difficulty: Hard
The Good: Extremely innovative, fun, unique, and just plain AWESOME! This is an incredibly well made level, and the attention to detail here is just incredible! From beginning to end you just have this feeling of amazement and pretty much just wondering how he made it.
The Bad: Other than making me dizzy, the only "bad" thing is that it's just a hard level.
Suggestions: Advertise your level. Everyone deserves a chance to play this level.
Overall: 5/5 Hearted

TEMPLE OF THE UNKNOWN
AUTHOR: anidais
DIFFICULTY: [Medium]
POSITIVES: The design was rather simple but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I liked how the tikis or tribal faces revealed the back story. A few things definitely need to be fixed, which I'll talk about soon. The gameplay wasn't anything I've never seen before, but that's all right. It was fun, plain and simple.
NEGATIVES: Decoration and attention to detail, plus some polish, would not have hurt one bit. Some mechanics were either obscure in the player figuring it out or just broken. Polish could have fixed this and made for a little less frustrating experience. Don't get me wrong, your level is good, but it could have spent a bit more time in Create Mode.
NITPICKS: You used a lot of the same decorations (when there were any) over and over. I understand there's only so many, but be creative and use jagged shapes of materials or something other than the same feather/leaf thing.
SUGGESTIONS: You need to fix some mechanics, particularly the wheel with the two gaps in it and the pieces held together by rods. I spent a while trying to time a jump through one of the gaps, and only after I was down to my last life did I realize the tiny layer of sponge on the outside of the one of the pieces. This isn't a puzzle, it's frustrating. Put a tiki/tribal head there to say a cryptic clue like 'Grabbing is of the essence' or something.

Plus, during the cart segment it was far too easy to flip it or jump out to get a point bubble and have the cart get away from you, sending you down to the fire. Either slow the motors down or make the cart more stable.
OVERALL RATING: 3/5 stars
NOTES: It was a good level, just needs some fixing.

BOMBS AWAY! (EXTREME)
AUTHOR: beefynachos
DIFFICULTY: [Medium] to [Hard]
POSITIVES: The concept was something I haven't seen before, which is a kudos to you (not site kudos). It started out slow but the speed kept ramping up, and I was running frantically to try to stop the bombs. I almost got to one place, had grabbed the sponge, but the bomb slipped past as the platform rotated and I died. It was simple yet extremely fun.
NEGATIVES: The emitters were showing, though that's a small little thing, a nitpick really. So...
NITPICKS: The emitters were showing.
SUGGESTIONS: Perhaps an explanation in the description, because before the bombs started falling I kept grabbing and trying to figure out what the platforms were for. Then when the first bomb came and I wasn't prepared...roasted fluff.
OVERALL RATING: 4/5 stars;hearted
NOTES: Nice simple survival challenge that can get to be surprisingly difficult. Best play with more than one person.

A Bitter War - Part 1 & 2
AUTHOR: gocubsgo2
DIFFICULTY: [Medium]
POSITIVES: As you said you are going for quality in these levels. While you were not up to Mm's standards, they are pretty good. Your use of the paintinator and its features were implemented in a good way. There were also a good variety of tasks in both levels.
NEGATIVES: At the tank part, one of the last men you shoot paintballs at did not disappear. As such the tank was unable to progress forward enough so that you could exit the tank without difficulty. Although I managed to get out and around the tank eventually, this needs fixing.
NITPICKS: Personally the shiny metal you used is one of my least favorite materials in LBP as it can distract you sometimes.
OVERALL RATING: ![]()
![]()
![]()
| [Not Hearted] - Both rated the same.
SUGGESTIONS: Main fix that is needed is that last man at the tank. Also the part where you jump over the paint gun and go to a tower, that needs a speech bubble to explain that you need to jump and grab to progress. I was (and am sure other people) waiting and expecting there to be a lift.
NOTES: I reviewed them together as they are meant to be a continuation of the story.

THE FORGOTTEN CITY OF ATLANTIS 1
AUTHOR: anidais
DIFFICULTY: [Medium] to [Hard]
POSITIVES: The decoration and lighting maintained a consistent quality throughout, good job. The design was excellent; it really made you feel like you were in an underwater city. Speaking of underwater, you also felt like you were due to great sound and lighting effects, plus the occasional plastic fish floating around didn't hurt either. The boss was huge and well-constructed.
NEGATIVES: More story could have been given, but then again, we all know about Atlantis, right? The ghost's mouth should probably be invisible, as it wasn't lined up with the ghost's opening for a mouth.
NITPICKS: The very first spikes you come upon are quite difficult, almost frustrating.
SUGGESTIONS: Some of the gameplay could be improved. After all, a lot of it was jetpacks and jumping past gas and electricity.
OVERALL RATING: 5/5 stars; hearted
NOTES: This is a great level, more people should play it and it should have more than three stars.

Bombs Away
AUTHOR: beefynachos [Hearted]
DIFFICULTY: 1P [Hard] / 2P [Hard] - [Medium] / 3P [Medium] / 4P [Easy]
POSITIVES: Unique concept that works. Levels up nicely. Bombs are randomly dropped (no cheating there). A big plus is that you can win the randomizer used (if you find the hidden area). While the decoration is minimal, it is adequate for a level of this nature.
NEGATIVES: Nothing prominent that sticks to mind. Although this could be classed as a plus, you can survive being blown up if you jump at the right moment. However you have this covered with extra bombs, just in case.
NITPICKS: One teensy nit here. The cardboard that is just left of the grab switch (on the far left) is not stuck down.

SUGGESTIONS: Can you possibly make another similar survival level. But in that one you have to have buddies helping you. Whereas in this level, it's optional.
NOTES: Nice addition of a secret area in a survival challenge. Not seen that before.

MGS: Shadow Moses
AUTHOR: anidais
DIFFICULTY: [Easy]
POSITIVES: Well laid out areas with some multiple paths. Everything seems to work well.
NEGATIVES: Not enough stuff to do. Pretty claustrophobic. (The really small paths especially) Over too soon.
NITPICKS: I wished the zipline part was longer. It was a cool moment, but over too quickly.

out of 5. [Not Hearted]
SUGGESTIONS: Add more to it. Give us more to do. I have a feeling you have plenty of room on the thermometer.

THE FORGOTTEN CITY OF ATLANTIS 2: POSEIDON'S FORK
AUTHOR: anidais
DIFFICULTY: [Medium] to [Hard]
POSITIVES: The decoration was top notch. The obstacles were well designed, too. I like the attention to background detail, like Mm did and does it. It never affects gameplay, but it's pleasing to the eye and makes you like the level more because of it. The music choice was very good as well. Again, the boss was well constructed and I liked how you achieved the randomness of the tentacles.
NEGATIVES: For some players the boss will be too difficult to beat. There wasn't much story either.
NITPICKS: A few of the decoration plants, seaweed, were covering spikes. If you jump far left right at the beginning of the level, you can drop down to the floor.
SUGGESTIONS: I don't have many suggestions for you, it was a fine level, other than fix the bugs that I mentioned above. Also, one more thing: some of the collapsing sections, while they add a nice touch, can sometimes lead to something good and sometimes lead to a gassy death. Sometimes you couldn't see which the gap was, and it was frustrating to drop down straight into gas.
OVERALL RATING: 4/5 stars; hearted
NOTES: I'm glad I've been playing this series of levels.
