LOL. Let's respond to the pictures! ![]()
1. Didn't notice that before.
2. Nope, it's not fake. I just took a picture of it with the in-game camera. I've never Photoshopped in my life.
3. Yes, it is a pwning ninja.
4. Yeah, it did get really laggy.
5. I was just lucky I caught it with the camera. Surprised me! Just lucky I guess.

AUTHOR (PSN ID) : Jigarbov
DIFFICULTY: [Easy] - [Medium] - [Hard]
CATEGORY: Boss
LOCATION: Around Southwest Russia
PROS:
If you are a player with a real thirst for boss battles, you will probably get your fill with this level. Just ask me, I crave for boss battles. The main concept of the level revolves around fighting four consecutive bosses. Each boss is different from one another and so is the environment. Two bosses that really stood out for me were the ones involving the custom made dragon. The background effect created for the final boss was really well made and does give a cool feeling of flight. For those that are either newbies or veterans, the author added difficulty options for the player. The difficulty ranges as follows : easy, medium and hard.
CONS:
The entrance to the level is very damp. The overwhelming amount of exposed black matter makes the level feel stale and unpolished. Between each boss there exist big empty spaces. This aspect is already stated by the author at the beginning of the level, but I still have to place it in this part of the review due to obvious reasons.
NITPICKS:
- There is no brief story to explain the bosses.
- Some mechanisms of the level do not function properly making the level feel unverified by the author.
- The checkpoint of the second second boss feels too far from the action.
SUGGESTIONS:
- Place all four bosses directly one on top of the other. As if each boss were in a building floor. This way you avoid those giant spaces created due to the lack of memory in the thermometer. This will also make the game look more complete. I strongly recommend this. It would be very different from what any player has seen.
- By doing the previously mentioned suggestion, you can also remove the hoist devices that originally connect each boss. Some of these devices work awkwardly. Removing them will improve the level's feel and gameplay.
- By removing the hoist devices there will be more memory available in the thermometer. With this newly acquired memory you may update the level's entrance. You could make the entrance like a dungeon with weapons on the walls. Im suggesting a dungeon because of the dragons in the level and the amount of fights. Candles could also be added in this dungeon along with a "magic mouth" that explains the difficulty options and a possible brief story for the level.
- Add a second paintinator to the rotating environment in the first boss. One waits too much for just one.
- The life checkpoint of the second boss (the one with the baby's head) should be right next to the paintinator. The player really gets into fighting the boss, but when one respawns at such a distance it really takes away from the experience. You probably used the current method because it easier to change the checkpoints due to the difficulties. If you arrange the boss battles by floors you can make the checkpoints of the second boss enter from the left and right under the paintinator.
- Place a ceiling light over the dragon egg. This will add a nice visual aspect to the boss and at the same time guide the player to know where to shoot. Make sure that the player cannot see the bulb itself. It would take away from the experience if it does.
- The level's possible copy for the players is not as you believe it works. A key only unlocks level to play not to copy it. The copy option is turned either on or off by you. If you click on the level, there is a particular page where you have the following options: Copy, move, copyable and lock. Select or hover over the Copy/Copyable option and move the right joystick to change between on and off. Personally I would not make it copyable. You spent too much work to just let someone else steal it. Perhaps you could give the player more score bubbles.
OVERALL RATING:

Worth Playing ; [not hearted or author-hearted]

Wow, business has picked up here! All right, I can do probably three levels right now, and maybe another later. I'll take Gronjo's, amazingflyingpoo's, and one of qbert333's levels. (qbert, if you want a specific level reviewed, please say so.)
@brnxblze:
For me this new format is just a test to see what our readers and requesters and members think about it. The directory is detailed and gives all the info you need, however, I can see your point about new reviews getting lost in the discussion and requests. If more people don't like it, I'll change it back, don't worry. After all, the customer's always right!
It's just putting everything together eliminated the maintaining of two threads down to one. If a few more people are vocal about how they don't like this new format, I will change it back.
