Yeah, it's here!... but what is it?
Online Create has finally arrived! Sackboy has dreamed of this day for a long time 
And with OC comes Team EPIC... LBP's first and largest OC group!
Team EPIC has a few main purposes: work with new people, have fun, and make a great level! It's very simple; everyone has something that they're good at creating, and everyone has their weaknesses. So, if you get people together that all have a diferent strength, they could make a pretty great level!
There are four diferent categories in Team EPIC that represent your skill; Mechanical, Visual, Random Crap, and Leadership. You choose what catagory you go into, and then you are assigned into a group of 4 to make the best level you can!
Joining is simple; give your PSN and your creating specialty! (some members have already been assigned to groups, but you don't see that they've asked on this thread. I started this earlier at the H4H Bounty Hunter Forums to see how it'd go, so I got some there. I've gotten a few via PMs and some in LBP.)

These are the creators that are the best at making the mechanical stuff (duh). They are great at making switches and understand logic. They can fix problems with the level. They can make machines. They work mainly with gadgets to create the 'brain' of the level.

These are the creators that know how to make a level look nice. They pick the materials and the stuff that is going into the level. They put in the decorations. They DESIGN most of the level. They should be able to make a good, simple platforming level alone.

They do not participate in creating and do not count as official members, but they can help Team EPIC out in other ways, such as making sigs, costumes, orr stickers, advertising, being helpful to other members, ect. So, once you are in a catagory, you will eventually be put into a group of 4 (one from each catagory) and all of you just get together and make the best darn level you can!
Let me clarify, the groups are not as limiting as you may think. Random Crappers can make switches... mechanics can make things look pretty... ect. The catagories are what you SPECIALIZE IN, NOT what you are RESTRICTED TO!

If a member of your group is innactive, please send a PM to Heckboy88 or another commander with the PSN and group number. Make sure this member is ACTUALLY innactive. Send him/her a message on the PS3 to remind him/her, and give them a resonable amount of time to respond!

A Few Last Things
When publishing your group's level, put 'A Team EPIC Production' in it. That'll make our levels easier to find, spread publicity of this creation clan, and... YEAH! Your level will not be considered an official Team EPIC Production without this! If you cannot fit 'A Team EPIC Production' into the description, ask a Commander if it's OK to use just [EPIC].
Also, refrain from off-topic chit chat! Only discuss things related to members, Team EPIC, the forums, creating, etc. Too much off-topic chat could get you temporarly banned!
Team EPIC Commanders:
Commanders assign groups, help with any questions or problems you have, ect. DON'T ask to be one. They will be chosen by me when needed, and people who are respectful, responsible, know Team EPIC and are generally helpful for the group will be picked.

A new system to place members in groups is being established. It will most likely take timezones and activity into consideration!
The Team EPIC Forums
Habster360 was kind enough to make us some awesome forums! Discussion on the forums is a great way to meet Team EPIC members, discuss creation, and find help on what you need. There is also a board where you can make your own thread for your own group to discuss your level freely, making it much more organized and fun!
I encourage you all to join the forums. There is a link in big, green letters in the OP, right underneath the picture!
The Team EPIC Story Mode
One story mode just ain't big enough for LBP... that's why Team EPIC is determined to make a story mode longer than any other and close to MM quality!
The Stroy Mode's theme is not set in stone yet. We are expecting to do it much like MM, with Creator Curators and lots of different themes. We want the level's basic theme to be chosen by the level's creators, of course. The series will follow a story, but not a very strict one, much like MM's... in that story, you're basiclly just exploring
One level of the story will be made at a time. The group that is to make the level will be randomly chosen shortly after the latest level in the series is published. Of course, the group chosen will get a choice in if the want to make it or not. When the level is finished, a Commander will play through it and give suggestions or change just a bit up.
To clarify; not all levels made by Team EPIC are for the story. No no no. Only a small perecntage will be!
All levels of the story will be published under one account, which you can read about below! (the creators of the level can be listed in the description and/or somewhere in the level!) To give the level to that account, I will simply ask for you to publish it LOCKED and COPYABLE, and then send me a key so I can put it onto the profile...
The Team EPIC Official Profile
Team EPIC has a PSN to help out. I, Heckboy88, am in charge of the profile. The profile is for:

How am I placed in a group?
The commanders of Team EPIC will randomly assign you into a group of four, one from each catagory. The leaders do NOT assign groups, the commanders do.
What do I do when I get in my group?
The group leader (whoever is in the Leadership catagory) is mainly in charge of getting you together to discuss what you'lll be doing and when you'll be doing it. Start building your level together whenever you want!
How do we pick what our level will be?
You'll all have to work together to decide on that. Choose something you all agree on! It can be anything.
Who gets to put the level on their moon and publish it?
The level should probably go on the person who will be most active's moon. They should publish it locked and copyable and send all their group members a key so they can have it anytime they like. Who gets to publish it is up to you. If you can't decide, the Leader automaticlly gets to.
How can I be in a group to build a level for the Team Epic Story Mode?
One group will be randomly assigned to do this at a time. All members must agree on doing it.
Can I change groups after my group has been assigned?
Most likely not, unless you have a really good reason, not just 'I want to work with someone else'.
My group finished our level. Now what?
Your leader should report the levels' name and who made it. You will be assigned a new group soon enough!
I want to stay in Team EPIC, but I'm taking a break from creating. What do I do?
Tell me if you don't want to be assigned a new group for a while, and I'll change your name's color on the list to white. You can stay 'whited out' for as long as you wish, and come back any time you like. Any innactive members will be 'whited out' until they become active or resign.
Can I change catagories?
If you feel you'd do better in a different catagory, by all means, change. But not when you're in the middle of making a level!
I'm equal in multiple catagories. Which should I pick?
That's up to you. I WILL NOT CHOOSE FOR YOU. You can choose the one with the fewest members, roll a dice, be a Leader (since they create more freely)... whatever. It's up to you.
Where do I get the Team EPIC stickers?
In my level, located at the North Pole on the globe. The code to get in is 1351. DO NOT TELL ANYONE THE CODE. It is on Heckboy88's account and Team EPIC's account, Team-EPIC.
Someone in my group was being very mean/innapropriate. What do I do?
Tell me or a fellow commander immidatly. This person will be banned.
Can I be a Commander?
I don't like it when people ask this, LOL. We only really need one commander for every, say, 15-20 people. If I feel we need more, I'll ask someone who is responsible, active, kind, and understands this organization.
Someone in my group is NEVER on and hasn't replied to any of us. What do I do?
Tell me or a fellow commander. We can replace that member.
Someone in my group isn't agreeing with any of our ideas and does his/her own thing. What do I do?
Always try reasoning first. If he/she really won't agree with anything, tell me or a fellow commander.
Do we only create when all of our group members are online, or can we create it alone sometimes?
No. You should usually only create your level when at least two of your group members are online. You do not have to wait for all four of you ro be online. You shouldn't create your level alone very much, though. What if a visualist got on to see that the random crapper had worked for 8 hours on their level alone and now it's almost done? Only add to your level alone if you're just doing some little changes.
What are the main creation skills we want all leaders to know? -TSFRJ
Being a leader, you still have to have enough creation skills to be helpful to the group, of course. Definitly complete all the tutorials. You have to be the judge of this. Will you have enough skill, or will you drag the group down? Team EPIC is a learning experience meant to help you become a better creator, but you shouldn't join until you're good enough to help out!
What are the basic objects each group need to have on hand? -TSFRJ
Since there are four of you, you'll porbably have a nice array of bits and bobs. You should have the right materials to make your level work. Community objects are up to you.
What TE logic system/mechanizams should all mechanics have? -TSFRJ
Mechanics don't really need to have to many switches on hand, as long as they can make them. Peremenant switches, multi-input switches, etc. are nice to have, of course. I recomend to all mechanics to play the LogicTech levels, and collect some of their prizes. That will help you out.
Aside from the obvious, what stickers should all the visualist have? -TSFRJ
Obvious being the basic colors and common story-stickers. Visualists don't particualry need stickers, as long as they can make them. To all visualists, I recommend playing a level on special effects by 'Moxy___o_O_'. I learned a ton from it, and got some beautiful stickers. It is hearted by the Team EPIC account.
Is there anything all RCers need to have on hand at all times for TE objects? -TSFRJ
Random stuff would be nice But there is too much randomness to have it all! Make some useful things, like cars or enemies. Other than that, there is little way of knowing what you'll need for the level. Just be prepared to make a lot!
Someone in my group does not show up when I search their PSN. It says that it is invalid. Any help? -Fishrock123
Try searching other ways. For example, go into LBP's search engine and see if you can find them that way to get the proper spelling. If you can't, check with a Commander. We can try to find out how and when this person joined to get their proper PSN name.
Team EPIC Cotumes and Stickers
Custom costumes for all you happy gadders in our clan? Yes! It's very simple; everyone has to wear the construction helmet (well, you don't HAVE to, only if you have it). You can wear whatever else you like with it. According to what group you're in, you paint it.
Mechanics- Blue
Visualists- Red
Random Crappers (LOL)- Green
Leaders- Black
Then, play my level, 'Team EPIC Stickers' to get a custom 'E' sticker to put on the front! The level is at the North Poll and is published on my account and the Team EPIC account, called Team-EPIC. The code to get in is 1351. Just grab the ground above the number that amount of times, with a pause inbetween. DO NOT TELL ANYONE THE CODE, even if you think they're a member. Tell them to come here and read this post to get it.
Also, there is a secret to the sticker level At the begining, to the left, there is a red forcefield up. Remember those 'special occasion stickers' I mentioned? The ones that were for when something BIG happened and I made a sticker for to celebrate? Those stickers will go on the other side of the forcefield. Every now and then, the membership sign will be put up that will allow you to get into the special zone. You'll need to put the Team EPIC logo on it AND type the level code in.
Right now, the sign is up! Go get your limited time sticker! (as of 11-24-09)
